All India Cricket Match Dates in 2023
After the conclusion of IPL 2023, it is expected that the Indian cricket team will start its export process in July and August. Also, India will go to the West Indies. This big tour will include 2 Tests, 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is against the West Indian team.
The second Indian team will take part in the series, so that the main players can rest and prepare for the upcoming Asian Games. The BCCI has not yet announced the exact timetable for India's tour of the West Indies.
Asian Cup (September 2023)
In September, India will participate in the much-awaited 2023 Asian Games. In their opening match, India will take on familiar faces Pakistan. This will be Pakistan's first edition of the Asia Cup in the 50+ series. The tournament will consist of a group stage where each team will play two, followed by a Super Four, where the qualifiers will play each other. These ODI matches will be good practice for the Asian team ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup. India vs. Australia (September-December 2023)
Like last year, Australia will visit India shortly before the World Cup. This series will provide valuable training for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023. The two teams will play 3 ODI matches a few days before the quadrennial tournament. After the international tournament, the Australian team will be in India to continue their tour. India will now engage in the fifth T20I series against Australia in December before moving on to the next series.
ICC Cricket World Cup (October–November 2023)
From October 26 to November 26, the team will participate in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Ten teams will participate, seven will qualify for the 2020-23 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, two will qualify for the 2023 Cricket World Cup and India will get automatic qualification as the host nation.
The tournament will take a round-robin format, where all teams will play each other in the group stage. India will enter the World Cup as favourites, enjoying the advantage of playing at home. They will try to repeat their past glory through ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. India Tour of South Africa (December-January 2023)
At the end of the year, India will tour South Africa, with 2 matches, 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is. The season will begin in December and run until the first month of 2024, providing an exciting start to the new year for cricket fans.
